Service™ Manager
To view another Page Tab for the highlighted Service Record, simply click on one of the desired page tabs across the top of the following graphic display.
The Service Manager™ Module is an optional component of VIMMS® that is similar to Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software used by many companies to track their customer contacts.
This Module provides the means to log requests for service, issue work orders and track the status of a constituent's request from actual receipt through its investigation stage to final disposition. In addition, when a work order is issued from within the Service Manager™ Module and the activity is completed, it can dynamically update an existing asset record in the associated traffic control device module.
When the Service Manager™ Icon is selected from the VIMMS® Main Menu Tool Bar, a list of Request records are displayed. If the All Radio Button is selected, this Page Tab displays all previously entered requests for service. By changing the Radio Button selection, the list displayed can be filtered to display only requests with a particular status. The Request List may also be narrowed by selecting a specific Request Class.
The items shown on this Page Tab are sorted by Originator. Double clicking on the desired column heading can change the sort selection.
When an Originator Record is highlighted on this Page Tab, its record details can be viewed by clicking on the other Page Tabs to the right of the List Tab.
