The VTMS Logo

The VTMS logo design evolved from a number of ideas. The basic outline or shape (a diamond) provides a "kinship" relationship with the Vulcan Corporate Logo. The other layers represent stylized "arrow heads" pointing in each of the four primary directional points of the compass. On top of this is a "diamond shaped traffic sign" with a "white" circle centered on it. The "white" circle represents the iris of a motorist's eye with a "symbolic roadway to infinity" reflected from the pupil of the eye.
