Vulcan Veteran’s Group

The Vulcan Veteran's group is led by veteran, volunteer employees. We aim to foster a diverse, inclusive workplace that is aligned with our organization. This Vulcan Veteran’s Group shares experiences and goals along with a chance to socialize, work on professional development, and raise awareness of relevant issues affecting veterans.

The Veteran's group will represent Vulcan at various community events. Veterans will assist in diverse recruiting initiatives, increase cultural competence, be a resource for new veteran hires, and support each other.

HIREVets Program

The HIREVets Medallion Program is awarded to those organizations who have made a commitment to veteran hiring, retention, and professional development. This Veterans employment award is the only federal-level award.

Vulcan was awarded gold in 2020 and 2022 for their commitment in recruiting, employing, and retaining Veteran’s.
